This tour was rescheduled from the original July 8-11 tour that had to be cancelled due to high water on the Mississippi Rover. Cruise the Upper Mississippi Valley on the Twilight Riverboat and discover a place that Native Americans, fur traders, and lead miners once called home. The Captain will point out sights of interest along the way, and will explain the procedure of locking through as you pass through Lock & Dam #12 & #13. Virginia Military Extravaganza

This is one of our favorite tours! We will stay 3 nights in Virginia Beach and everyone will have a balcony room. 1st and 5th nights will be in Arlington, VA. On day 4 we will stop at Nauticus, The National Maritime Museum and will be able to tour the USS Wisconsin, a Workd War II battleship. We will then depart for the monuments in Washington, DC (World War II, Vietnam, Korea, Lincoln & Iow Jima). The Virginia International Military Extravaganza featuring "Tattoo" is a show that features over 800 military men from units all over the world and it is held in the beautiful Scope Arena in Norfolk. The largest "Tattoo" is in Edinburg, Scotland; the second largest is in Halifax, Nova Scotia; and the third largest is in Norfolk.  We will have a step-on guide to tour Virginia Beach and the famous Air Museum.
