Enjoy a weekend away before Christmas. The Palmer House is decorated so beautifully and we are in the heart of the shopping on State Street. Lots of options to choose from, including plays, museums, shopping, German Christmas Market, Dining and much more. You have free time from 11:00 a.m. on Saturday through 3:00 p.m on Sunday. We are planning 2 nights in Beckley, WV, 2 nights in Savannah, GA, and 2 nights in Charleston, SC. Included are guided tours of Savannah, Middleton, Charleston, and Mt. Airy. There will be plenty of free time to explore as the cities are walking towns. In Savannah, we are across from the famous River Walk.

Virginia Military Extravaganza

April 18-23, 2026

This is one of our favorite tours! We will stay 3 nights in Virginia Beach and everyone will have a balcony room. 1st and 5th nights will be in Arlington, VA. On day 4 we will stop at Nauticus, The National Maritime Museum and will be able to tour the USS Wisconsin, a World War II battleship. We will then depart for the monuments in Washington, DC (World War II, Vietnam, Korea, Lincoln & Iow Jima). The Virginia International Military Extravaganza featuring "Tattoo" is a show that features over 800 military men from units all over the world and it is held in the beautiful Scope Arena in Norfolk. This fantastic show blends tradition and entertainment in the form of bag pipers, military bands, fife and drum corps, and drill teams that make up the hundreds of performers who come to Virginia once a year for this amazing show. The largest "Tattoo" is in Edinburg, Scotland; the second largest is in Halifax, Nova Scotia; and the third largest is in Norfolk.  We will have a step-on guide to tour Virginia Beach and the famous Air Museum.
